OUR PROCESS

INTRODUCTION & ENGAGEMENT

Our introduction and engagement phase is focused on defining your project goals by reviewing scope, investment, and timeline. During this stage, we establish a defined understanding of your project and outline how we will move forward together.

We then develop a statement of work, an estimated furnishings budget, and a detailed fee structure in the form of a design contract, providing a structured framework for how your project will be executed.

PROGRAMMING

Once engaged, we will schedule a kickoff meeting or site survey. During this phase, we assess existing conditions, capture site photography, take detailed measurements, and review any previously developed plans.

From there, we guide you through planning your investment, taking into account your goals, preferences, and level of customization. If your project includes construction, we work directly with your architect and builder to review drawings, timelines, and project roles to ensure a clear and aligned start. If you have not yet selected an implementation team, we are able to assist in facilitating that process.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

Our signature design process is deliberately structured to remove pressure and ambiguity. Instead of expecting you to explicitly define and communicate your style at the outset of the project, our team uses visual cues and guided feedback to naturally establish and refine the aesthetic direction, while ensuring function remains central to how you live.

During the design development phase, our team presents a series of materials including floor plans, furnishing concepts, material selections, and inspiration imagery. These visuals are used as a framework to spark discussion, giving us opportunities to listen deeply, interpret your feedback, and guide each decision with precision, intention, and creative intuition.

Once we have a clear direction in place, we craft a tailored design plan that includes concept boards and physical samples for your review and feedback. The design is then refined through a thoughtful and nuanced process until the final presentation and pricing proposal are complete, with an end result that feels aligned with your aesthetic and needs.

For projects with construction scope, we also develop a detailed design specification book, including drawings, material schedules, and implementation notes to ensure the design intent is accurately carried through during execution.

IMPLEMENTATION

Our team then manages the procurement of all approved materials and furnishings. If construction is included in the scope, we work alongside your contractor to schedule site meetings and key milestone walk-throughs as the project progresses.

Should questions or challenges arise during construction, we remain closely involved to provide measured and timely solutions that ensure that the vision we developed is achieved.

Once all furnishings have been received from our vendors, we schedule and oversee installation to place all design elements, layer in final accessories, and welcome you into your newly completed home.
